Harropine Hounds were established in 1968, when we bred our first litter of Beagles. We are located in the remote area just outside Boston, Lincs (about 1 hour from the A1). For a more specific direction see Location link.

In 1975 we made our debut in the show ring. Since then we have had extreme success and had 43 champions UK and Overseas in various breeds. We were well known for the Harropine Shih Tzu.

As the years have gone by we have steered towards our wonderful low maintenance hounds. They require little/no grooming allowing them to take full advantage of our fields for excercise.

We breed our dogs for the show ring hoping to catch a star but as in all litters the majority become available as household pets and campanions for someone to be proud of.

All of our puppies are are bred with health and welfare first and breed standard second. Any health issues pretaining to any of the breeds are taken very seriously and any veterinary checks are adhered to, so that we and our clients have the best hope of a happy healthy puppy.
